VGNO - The Love of My Life

WOW! A well needed VGNO (virtual girls night out.) It could not come at a better time. Tonight's topic is How did you meet the love of your life?

My husband and I met about 8 years ago. I was 8 months pregnant with my first child when I went to visit a friend. My husband just so happened to be visiting hid best friend (my friends boyfriend). My friend and I were headed out to see a local Christmas Play and we dragged the guys along with us. MY hubby was so sweet and kind and kept wanting to make my baby move. A month later we came to meet my new baby with my friend and her boyfriend. That was it for about 10 months.

Well lets just say that my sons father was not there for me. I spend ten months home alone with my son. Finally my mom and dad got tired of me being alone. I hadn't really seen any of my friend since my son was born. They told me they were going to babysit for me while I went out to see some friends. When I showed up at my friends house my future hubby was there. We have been together even since.

My husband is such a great man and a wonderful father to all our children. He took my oldest in as his own and never looked back. He even changed my sons diaper before his own dad ever did.

I was so lucky to find Kevin and I thank God every day to bringing him into my life! I love you!

Oh wow! That's so awesome. And such an uplifting story to hear from another single mom. Good to know that happy endings happen for us too!

Happy VGNO!

I had a very similar situation though all 3 of my kids were already born. I had known my now hubby for 10 yrs so he knew my kiddos when they were little. He and his then girlfriend were friends and coworkers of my then bf. needless to say neither of those relationships worked out and he came looking for me and swept me off my feet! We have been together happily ever since!
